Yet another big weekend of Camogie.
It kicked off on Friday evening with a first championship victory 🏆 for our Junior's against Parteen-Meelick in front of a home crowd. They now go on to play in a Junior C Shield Semi-Final.
On Saturday morning, our U11's played in the first of their league matches. Despite the very warm conditions ☀️ they played their hearts out. They're relishing taking on Ballina on Wednesday evening in challenge match.
Also on Saturday, Smith OBriens U14 Camogie team welcomed O'Moores Camogie Club of Laois to Killaloe for an end of season match. In what was a very hot morning both teams used all players and there was some lovely camogie on show from both teams. The match was followed by tea's and treats for everyone. We would like to thank parents on both sides for their contribution to this. The Laois team and some SOB players went for a swim 🏊♀️ in O'Briens Bridge before they headed off to Derg Isle.
The U14 management team would like to thank O'Moores for coming down, for their presentation to the club, and for the invite back to Laois. We hope to return the compliment some time in the future.
💛❤️
