Dear members,

The executive committee are delighted to announce that tomorrow from noon till 7pm the pitch will be closed for extensive improvement works.

450kgs of slow release 28-0-0 fertilser will be applied to improve pitch nutrients and encourage thicker grass growth.

150tons of fine grain pitch sand will be spread to improve drainage.

The pitch will be decompacted/aerated by a shockwave slicing machine.

We hope that this is the start of improving our pitch surface to the standards we would desire year after year.
