A large crowd of over 40 full adult members attended the Special General Meeting in the Sports Arena on Wednesday evening, with the quorum comfortably met.

The club chairman presented the slides and information as previously shared with members, explaining the reasons the club needed to update the trustee, primarily being to draw down grant monies available.

Then the details and information were presented around the GAAs new corporate trustee model and its differences to the traditional trustee model which it was designed to replace.

Good engagement was shown by members from the floor with many questions asked.

Finally the chairman then proposed the motion to transition to the Corporate Trustee Model to members present which resoundingly passed on a show of hands.

The pathway is now in place to recieve formal grant approval on the 2017 Sports Capital Grant of 79,000, pending 3 tenders submitted for the ground floor works in the coming weeks.
